Erik is an MD/PhD candidate at Emory and Georgia Tech. He is interested in technology, data science, and healthcare. Previously, Erik founded Forge (a nonprofit that helped tech companies launch pilot studies) and published papers on clinical informatics, reconstructive surgery, neuro-oncology, biomaterials, and medical education. He also patented an algorithm for monitoring cardiovascular stress and licensed the IP to a company. Erik earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Statistics from Georgia Tech, and a BS in Bioengineering from UCLA.
